I am a retired Certified Financial Planner, having started my practice in 1983, selling it in 2017. During that time, it evolved from a one person office to an elite practice serving affluent clients in both the U.S. and abroad. I hold advanced financial degrees and designations. My wife and I relocated to her home town, Chapin, and built our retirement home on Lake Murray so our family, especially our grandchildren, could enjoy lake life. I’ve long admired the automobile for it’s beauty and speed. As a child I would walk into town and the Chevrolet salesmen were kind enough to let a ten year old sit in a Corvette. I promised myself I would own one someday. I’ve restored a 59 Corvette, owned several, but today mostly enjoy European cars. I presently own a Porsche Turbo, a Mercedes SL63 AMG, and a XK140. I enjoy travel, learning to play the banjo, serving God through helping children and the elderly, and singing in the choir at Chapin United Methodist church.
